Welcome to the Recycled Water Online educational website

  • This site provides information relating to the safe and sustainable use of recycled water.

The site will provide a number of learning resources for staff working with recycled water (eg: recycled water irrigation staff) as well as members of the community who may volunteer their time at sites where recycled water is used.

The learning resources will help staff and volunteers become aware of their obligations with respect to the safe and sustainable use of recycled water, as well as help educate them on the benefits and possible uses of this valuable resource.

Currently, there is only one course available, the Werribee Tourist Precinct Induction Course. It is envisaged that as more recycled water schemes are developed, and the use of on-line platforms as a way of educating staff and volunteers becomes more popular, that more learning resources will be added to the site.

Available Courses

  • The course aims to inform staff and volunteers of the Werribee Tourism Precinct of their obligations whilst working in areas irrigated with Class A recycled water and provide them with sufficient information about recycled water, and its sustainable use, across Melbourne and Victoria.
